» Represented Microsoft in the Student partner program. Delivered several sessions on ASP.Net
» Was introduced to free and open source softwares; what a way it was! Richard stallman's talk on software freedom day.
» Became a member of BMS-LUG which hosted a number of sessions right from installing linux, to compiling programs using gcc, to build software from trunk and fix bugs.
» Started working for fests, Utsav and Genesis right from my second year. Contribution came in different ways - artwork, sponsorship, hosting events like on spot programming, online collage, web designing etc..
» Made some great friends.
» Became the placement coordinator for my department; made some more great friends!
» Got placed in Infosys, Accenture and National Instruments
» Joined WCDMA Team at National Instruments in July 2009.
» Awesome culture and great colleagues.
» Started using LabVIEW, NI's graphical programming language..
» Was nominated for rookie of the year award!
» Started running, cycling.. thanks to few colleagues!
» Started with programming in Pascal in 12th standard.
» Learned ( rather read books on ) C, C++, Java, Perl, PHP, Shell scripting, Awk as a part of academics.
» C++ was my primary programming language, because of topcoder.
» Came across this beautiful language python.. started using it a little late though..
» Web fascinates me.. learned ASP.net, PHP, Django, jquery etc.. latest one being node.js
